Eva Mendes (born in New York City) is an American actress and model. Eva Mendes was discovered by a talent agent who saw her potential. They convinced her she could pursue a position within the entertainment field. She was able to decide to drop her school and join the industry of entertainment after a lot of thought. Her debut came in the film 'Children from the Corn' from Fields of Terror. She was not happy with the performance. In order to prove herself that she was a professional, she put in a lot of effort on honing her acting and was featured in a variety of films with low budgets. The actress had a tough road, but received a reward for her perseverance and sheer willpower. The actress received fame and positive reviews for her performance in the movie Training Day after which her acting career began to take off. Her well-known movies include 2 Fast 2 Furious the Hitch Ghost Rider Bad Lieutenant Port of Call New Orleans, and Holy Motors.
