Suzanne Pleshette (born June 25, 1942) was an American actor, voice-over artist and writer. She held more than a hundred credits during her five decades of career. Pleshette was born in New York and began her acting career on stage. Later she began to make the gradual transition to film. The most popular of Pleshette's films are Rome Adventure, The Birds, Fate Is the Hunter and If it's Tuesday This Must Be Belgium. Also, she had a broad range of roles on TV and in movies for television. She was nominated for Emmy Awards four times and Golden Globe Awards twice. Pleshette was considered to win the Laurel Award twice and won it in 1963. she appeared in the film 'The Birds. Pleshette passed away in 2008 and was posthumously awarded a Star in the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
