Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy (born on the 17th October 1992), is an Indian actress. She appears primarily on screen in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam films. She won the National Film Award for Best Actress as the actress Savitri on Mahanati, a Telugu film Mahanati (2018). She also won an award from the Filmfare Award South and three SIIMA Awards. Keerthy Kumar's parents include film producer G. Suresh Kumar & actor Menaka G. Suresh. She began her career as a child performer at the beginning of 2000 and returned to films after studying fashion design. Her debut lead part in the 2013 Malayalam film Geethaanjali. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). In the year 2015, Keerthy accepted her first films outside of Malayalam and signed on to be a part of several Tamil films at the same time. The film she released was her debut, A. L. Vijay's love story Idhu Enna Maayam, in 2015, opposite Vikram Prbhu. It was not an immediate success in the box office. To accommodate larger projects, due to her crazier schedule, she was forced to opt out of some films, that she began to work on. The films included were Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye (a romance) as well as Deekay's Kavalaivendam. Within a brief period she also worked alongside Sivakarthikeyan on Rajini Murugan, Remo and also played the lead on Prabhu Sool's Thodari alongside Dhanush. Her Telugu debut had been planned to be titled Ainaa Ishtam Nuvvu. The release of the film was pushed back in the year 2015, and now is expected to take place after September of 2020. The film will be released under a different title Janakitho Nauu. Nenu Sailaja (2016), which featured Ram Pothineni as the actor was Keerthy's debut. In January of 2017, Keerthy appeared in Bairavaa in a film starring actor Vijay and produced by Bharathan.
